One of my favorite things to do on the computer is design graphics with Gimp. It's easy, fun, and profitable. If you know what you're doing, you can easily make a few dollars a week just designing ads, but some people want to make their own ads. So here's how.
One of my favorite things to do on the computer is design graphics with Gimp. It's easy, fun, and profitable. If you know what you're doing, you can easily make a few dollars a week just designing ads, but some people want to make their own ads. So here's how. 1 Get a New Button. Button ads are 125 X 125 pixels. You pull up a new design and make it have a white background. That way you can easily change the colors. I like to add a blend over that, and make it something kind of neutral. Black and white works. Take the blend any way you want, mine are almost always diagonal, because it ads style. Then cut out a box in the middle and redo your blend the other way. This gives you a frame around the blend that looks like your button is deep. 2 Add Text Give your button a name. Put words on the button with the Big T button. You can change the Text by double clicking on the button. Be sure your words are big enough to read and do them in a color that contrasts, so they show up. I sometimes add more than a few words on my buttons. One line in one color, and another line in another color. 3 Click HERE Tell your viewers what to do with the button. I almost always say, Click HERE! People are kind of stupid like sheep. They do what you tell them, so tell them to Click HERE. It's easy. I design ads for my mom sometimes too! If you just designed an ad and want someplace to put it...
