An Ecourse can have a life of its own, but it's the life YOU give. Ultimately, it's you. It's whoever you want to be!
You know what one of the coolest things about having your very own Ecourse is? You can be whoever you want to be. In other words, if you were a shy and reserved person growing up, but you know there's someone inside of you dying to get out but not sure how, guess what, with an Ecourse you can become that outgoing person. You can become the person that's bold and can say just about anything he/she wants to. Oh sure, you don't want to be mean or belligerent, but you can still "act as if." Remember, YOU ARE THE EXPERT for your topic. People are coming to you for advice, knowledge, support, or whatever it is they seek from you. You can assume whatever persona you would like. Bottom line, it's always still you, but a different you if that's what you want. Want to "try something different"? Use a different teaching philosophy with your ecourse? Go for it. The one thing to remember is it's YOUR Ecourse. If you don't like the direction it's going, change it. If you like the direction it's going, utilize it. Maybe you'll never want to have an audio product, that's fine. Then the only way your subscribers will "hear" you is through the words you use. Make your words creative, make them portray whatever personality you would like. With your Ecourse, you will touch so many different kinds of people from so many different kinds of backgrounds you'll NEVER please everyone. The thing to remember is to please YOU. If you're pleased with your product, it comes through in your writing. So, whatever YOU you want to portray, make sure it's someone YOU like! |
