People tends to treat internet marketing as a get rich quick scheme that can make them thousands and thousands of dollars every day within one to two weeks in business. It is this belief that makes internet marketers quit this good opportunity that is placed before them. Let me share a short story with you... Once there was a group of farmers in ancient China, each of them decided to specialize in growing a specific type of crops for living. One of them chose to grow rice which can be sold and consumed by his own family and another decided to grow vegetable for the same reason. However the third farmer decided to grow BAMBOO which can be sold for building of house and making of furniture at that time. During the first year of cultivation, every one of them worked diligently on their crops just to make sure they can get a great harvest by the end of the year. Finally, the day came when the rice was fully grown and the vegetables were ready to be eaten and sold. But the BAMBOO farmer's crop had not grown a single inch despite the hard work he had put in. Soon the rice and vegetable farmers started to laugh at the Bamboo farmer for being so foolish because bamboo took three years to grow but this did not dampen the mood and motivation of the bamboo farmer because he truly believe in what he was doing. The second year came and great harvest fell on the two rice and vegetable farmers and still the bamboo had not grown an inch. As the third year came, the BAMBOO finally arrived to the growing time and shot up high over a few days and the best part was that it would continue to grow at an enormous rate on its own. So who actually got the last laugh? The two farmers had to repeat the process of growing their crops year after year like those people who are working for their company taking paycheck after paycheck while the third farmer was now resting in his house waiting for buyers to come as his bamboo can now grow on its own which is like those successful internet marketers who are making money while they are sleeping or on vacation. So the moral of the story here is to alert all of you internet marketers out there to have patient in building your internet marketing empire as this business works with the same principle as growing bamboo and one day you will be the BAMBOO FARMER! |
