| Herbalife Review - Products and Compensation Plan - Scam or Legit? |
|
Herbalife was founded in 1980 by Mark Hughes. If you become a distributor, you can offer nutritional supplements to promote a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, the compensation plan for distributors is not the best.
History Herbalife is a company based out of Los Angeles, CA that focuses on offering products in the health and wellness industry. It was founded in 1980 by Mark Hughes. Herbalife is also a business opportunity for potential home-based business owners. In particular, those who are looking to capitalize on the health revolution that is sweeping the nation. Products Herbalife's product line consists of many different types of health products. Their products include nutritional supplements for fitness enhancement, personal and skin-care products, and weight management products. They even offer a special line for the specific nutritional needs of women. As more and more people are adopting healthy lifestyles, nutritional supplements are becoming more and more popular. Compensation Plan The Herbalife business opportunity contains a stairstep-breakaway compensation plan. How the compensation plan got its name is when a distributor reaches a certain qualifying point, they then breakaway from their original sponsor. Once this happens, the original sponsor will now only receive a certain percentage of the total volume that flows through the sponsored distributor's group. Since you only get a certain percentage, you will need to recruit 100 to 200 people to join your team if you are looking to make around $1000! Make sure you do your research on the company before making any decisions. The start-up costs are high, the compensation plan is average, and you may not know what you're getting yourself into. Herbalife is a multi-level marketing company, and as I mentioned before, you will need to do your fair share of recruiting (as with any MLM). |
