If this appears like an impossible task, rest assured that it's not as difficult as it appears. There are ways you can simplify the task. You can write a single base survey and modify it when applying it to different segments, to understand your markets well.

For one, this will save time. Also, you will eventually end up saving hugely on your expenses, as you will be targeting and entering the right segments the very FIRST TIME AROUND. You will thus be leaving nothing to chance - you will have every important bit of information on what your customers want. And you will be able to give them the product they want, when they want it, and how they want it.

So you will start by aiming a whole host of advertisements at your target customers, as well as conducting a number of related surveys. And convert such customer responses into sales.

Best of all, you will leave your competitors behind. That is only to be expected, as your rivals won't understand how you are cutting up the market into many segments for the same products you are selling on your site.
