| How to Simplify Internet Network Marketing |
|
So many people who are new to internet network marketing get stuck in "analysis paralysis". They do tons of training and are so overwhelmed by all the information out there that they get stuck. Here are some things you can do to help you move forward in internet network marketing and avoid getting stuck.
If you are new to internet network marketing, or have experience but are overwhelmed by too much information, then rest assured that you are not alone. There are some wonderful training programs, but do they really guide newbies on how to get started, or do they provide so much information that people get stuck? As someone who provides consultations to internet network marketers, I can tell you that all too often it is the latter. Here are some things you can do to help you move forward in internet network marketing and avoid getting stuck. 1. Stay Focused
3. Invest Wisely
Find a training program that is comprehensive, but also streamlined. You really want a roadmap to show you where to start and where to move next. Find a program that offers either a free trial or a money-back guarantee. Most training systems are also affiliate marketing programs, so you can not only get the program for free but continue to earn income from it as well. Look at the training style of the coach and make sure it's one you can best learn from and enjoy. You will be spending many hours with that person (inviting him or her into your home via your computer) so make sure you enjoy their personality and training style. I have tried different training programs and here is what I have found: you need to find a program that meets your needs based on where you are at at the moment. Some programs teach you something very specific, such as SEO or lead building. This is great, but if you don't know the basics then you won't know how to apply these skills. Some programs are very detailed and technical, and these can be overwhelming, especially if you are new to internet marketing. What I've found is that it is best to start with a program that ties all the pieces of the puzzle together and gives you a solid foundation. Once you've done that, you can move on to other programs that focus on a particular piece of the puzzle. In addition to a training program, there are some other tools you will need. You will want to invest in an auto-responder (such as Aweber, Oprius or icontact), and a blog. I would recommend starting with a blog vs. a website because blogs are free or very inexpensive and the search engines like them. You will also want to create landing pages (or squeeze pages) that are personalized and to the point. You will need a service to host the site (e.g. Hostgator or GoDaddy). Managing your cash flow is key to any business. Make sure you know how much money you're spending and anticipate how much money is coming in. You need to put aside some money for your business every single month, whether it be for investing in the tools you need (autoresponders, websites, phone, etc.) or your marketing initiatives. Spend your money wisely, monitor results and adjust accordingly. Understand the concept of multiple streams of income and monetize where possible. Affiliate marketing offers many opportunities for monetization. Affiliate marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards you for each customer or visitor you bring in based on your marketing efforts. Learn what this means for your business and you will be able to create the income you need to sustain your business in its early stages and help you move forward. 5. Don't Give Up
The solution is two-fold. First, it is mindset. Recognize and accept the fact that everything will not go smoothly. Be determined to stay the course. Secondly, is it get into action. Complete an assignment, and then another and then another. As you do, your energy will rise and so will your direction. And as you continue to complete assignments, you will move into the production phase, where you will start seeing results. You're gaining momentum now and things are getting exciting. Don't stop learning. Ask lots of questions, and as much as possible, seek the answers on your own. If you have a coach or partner, don't wear them out by running to them with every question or roadblock. Use your coach for accountability, feedback, and support. But don't let yourself be spoon-fed. Learn by doing. And the greatest learning comes with teaching others. Seek opportunities to coach other people in what you are doing. That is where true growth occurs. Conclusion
