If you want to build a list quickly, a great way is with giveaways. This article is going to give you some solid tips to make your giveaway participation a profitable one.
I just recently got involved in my second give away and my email box this morning is overflowing with opt ins. I'm afraid it may even send me over Aweber's 10,000 subscriber limit before they start charging me extra. Of course the up side is the extra income I can earn from having a list...provided it's responsive. And that's the trick. You want to put together a giveaway that is going to bring you subscribers who are going to be responsive. This article is going to give you some tips on just how to do that. The first thing you want to make sure you do is provide a product for the giveaway that has some real value and not something that is just a piece of junk. For example, this giveaway I offered a book on how to do niche research. This is probably one of the most important areas of earning a living online because being able to identify a niche that is profitable is like gold. It is also one of the most difficult things to do. That's why you're likely to get a lot of subscribers if you give something that has a big demand. There are very few things that have a bigger demand in Internet marketing than learning how to identify a profitable niche. The second thing you want to do, in order to make the giveaway profitable for yourself is to have a followup product that is going to be something that people will want. I have several lined up for this giveaway including a book that actually does the niche research for you and identifies profitable niches so that you don't have to do the work yourself. Let's face it, some people don't want to do the research and that's fine. That's why we have products that do it for them. The third thing you want to do is align yourself with a giveaway that features other marketers who have a good reputation. If you're giving away things along with others who are well known in the Internet marketing community and have the respect of others, you are more likely to get people to opt into your list. Sometimes we gain trust simply from our association with others. Naturally, it helps if your own reputation is good as well.
