Many times I get asked what the secret to my success is. Truth is, there is no secret because I am going to share mine with you in this article. You might want to read this.
I can almost feel their hungry desperate eyes all over me when they ask me the question. "Steve, what's the secret to your success with Internet marketing?" Well, it's like I've been telling people for over five years now, there is no secret. It's just a lot of hard work. But that's never good enough, so in this article, I'm going to share with you what I feel are the three most important things that have contributed to my success as an Internet marketer. Take them for what they are worth to you. Number three has to be my ability to write and communicate with others. If you think about all that is involved in Internet marketing, a good chunk of it comes down to communication. When you write your sales copy, that has to be effective in order to make the sale. When you write your articles in order to inform the prospect so that he can make an intelligent decision about purchasing or not purchasing your product, or somebody else's product for that matter...all these things are critical to success. Even just writing an email back to a prospect who sent you a few questions...how you answer them will greatly determine whether or not he becomes a paying customer. Writing and communication are critical. Number two is organization. I can't tell you how many people I know who can't find anything on their hard drives. How can you run a business if you can't even find your own ebooks? If you're not organized, the chances of you being able to run a business are slim to none. Trust me, having success as an Internet marketer is more than just putting up a site and running a few ads. There's customer service, web maintenance, record keeping and on and on. With so much to keep track of, a person who isn't organized has very little chance. Number one is probably the deal breaker. The most important thing to my personal success is simply that I am determined to succeed. I don't let anything stand in my way, I don't make excuses, I have a solid work ethic, I treat my business like a business and I do whatever is required of me to have success. The words "I can't" are not in my dictionary. If I don't know how to do something, I learn. If learning something will take too much time, I will outsource it. Somewhere in the world, somebody can do what I need to have done. There you have it. There's no magic bullet. I haven't purchased a ton of info books in my life. What little knowledge I've gained, I've simply put to use. I don't waste time with things that are unproductive. I make the most of my day...everyday. All of these are the seeds of success.
