| Making Money Online - The Starting Place |
|
You're interested in making money online, but where do you start? Some people say it's easy, some say it's hard, and there are so many scams out there. It just seems so frustrating and confusing. You want something that works, is legitimate, and not a scam...and you need a starting place.
How is it that average people are making money online without any experience? Did they take classes? Or perhaps they were born into a family of internet gurus and it's all just hereditary? No, I'm speaking of real average people who have stepped into the net and started making real money. They didn't take classes at some big, well-known university, and it definitely wasn't in their genes. Affiliate Marketing The internet is loaded with online money-making systems that range from resourceful e-books to MLM (multi-level marketing) programs. The most popular method is affiliate marketing, which is a free money-making solution that involves promoting products that other people sell in return for a commission for each sale. In fact, most online businesses work in just that way. Scams...and how to avoid them There are numerous e-books and courses on the net to help you get started making money online with affiliate marketing, however, take precaution and research each system before you buy because there are lots of scams out there that will take your money and leave you nowhere. Simple steps to avoid getting scammed: - Go to Google.com and enter the name of the system followed by the word 'scam' or 'review' - Read a few sites (not just the title and description) and see what others think about the system - If the system promises money overnight or no work involved, it's a scam Making Real Money...How hard is it? Making money online, and I mean real money, takes real work. It's mostly easy work, but it requires practice and patience. It doesn't require a lot of time per day, perhaps an hour or two, but the more time spent, especially in the beginning, the better. It's also a good idea to research legal information such as taxes and EIN (employer identification number) requirements. The Work at Home Forum has such legal information. So where do I start? I recommend an online marketing course to get you started, preferably one with a step by step plan included. I have researched the web and read many reviews on various courses, and most of them are under $50. They normally offer an e-book, but most of them don't tell you how to get started. They just sell you the e-book, make their profit, and offer no support nor a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied. Some websites also have a forum so you can see what other people are saying and read their success stories. |
