Article writing and ecovers - those are the two things I outsource. I think anyone can make $5000 or more per month without outsourcing almost the entire business. But for $100000 a month, then outsourcing the majority of the business would be a smart idea, especially when things become too much too handle. Personally, I don't outsource customer service. Sure, I would when my business grows to become almost unmanageable. But I like to reply to customers and subscribers on my own as no one knows my business and my products better than I do. And I believe it does give more personalized replies. We're all overloaded online. Tons of instant messages, online phone calls, forums, email, writing etc. A few people have actually died from overwork online because the fact is the Internet operates 24/7 and there are deadlines and there is pressure. So outsourcing more of the work would definitely be a great idea - but as I said, if you want to make $5000 per month, you can do a lot of things yourself instead of adding on the additional expense. So outsourcing is not all it's made out to be. Sure, you need to outsource some of your business, especially the parts that you are weak at. But don't overspend on outsourcing as it might affect your bottomline greatly. To make $5000 per month, it is usually not required to outsource too many things to freelancers or virtual assistants. Do it - it is a good idea, but keep it in moderation. |
