When you create a web-site, at some stage in that development, you will need to find content to offer your visitors. This can come in the form of videos, articles, e-books, software, a newsletter, in fact the list goes on, but you get the idea.

Now when it comes to creating content, you have a couple of choices: You can either create it yourself (or hire someone to create it for you) OR you can buy the rights to some previously created content. PLR means Private Label Rights and effectively gives you the authority to do what you want with the content, even branding it as your own. Resell Rights are something totally different and in fact just give you the right to sell the product as is. Master Resell Rights (MRR) allow you to sell the product AND to sell the rights to sell that product. So, be clear on the rights you are buying, you can get into a lot of trouble if you get it wrong.

One final word of caution, when purchasing PLR and MRR content, buyer beware!! There is a lot of rubbish out there and if you buy old, out dated content then the value in those products will already have evaporated.
