Making money using PLR has become very popular recently. For those who don't already know, PLR stands for private label rights, and it poised to become even more popular in the future. So the first question you may have is, what are PLR Rights? Well here's the answer: Unrestricted PLR rights allow you to do whatever you want with the product. There are some instances when you do not have the full PLR rights to a product, so be sure to read the specifics of the rights of the product that you bought. With unrestricted PLR rights, though, you're golden. That is precisely why so many internet marketers are after these rights. With the PLR rights to a product, you can change the content, compile it into a newsletter, call yourself the author, and charge any price for it. There are thousands of PLR article packages that you can buy, which are great, because the search engines love content and you have tons of it now. PLR vs. MRR Now, we will answer another commonly asked question about this topic. What is the difference between PLR and Master Resell Rights and all these other "rights" packages? Well, lets start at the bottom. 1. Free giveaway rights- Giveaway rights allow you to (duh!) give the product away, but you cannot edit it or sell it. This is most often given away by marketers who create products that they hope will have a "viral" effect on the web, and although you can't profit from this, you can give it away as a bonus for people that join your subscriber list. 2. Basic Resell Rights- This means you can resell the product for profit but cannot offer these rights to those who buy it from you. Example: Joe Smith bought the basic resell rights to a book: How to create Widgets. So now Joe can sell it to Jane Doe for a profit. However, Jane Doe cannot sell the book for a profit, since she does not have the Basic Resell rights. 3. Master Resell Rights- This is a term you have probably heard by now and you don't really know the difference between this and PLR. MRR means that you can sell this book for profit and you can sell the basic resell rights to your customers. This means in the above example, if Joe Smith had the MRR and sold them to Jane, she could then turn around and sell the same product for a profit. Hope this brings clarification to the issue of rights. |
