Whether you are currently in a multi-level marketing or network marketing business, chances are you have heard some talk about Global Resorts Network (GRN). Maybe you are curious and you are doing your due diligence - which is the best thing you can do when starting any kind of business. A lot of talk that is going on out there about GRN is misguided and somewhat skewed as to what it is really all about. When I first heard about GRN from a fellow network marketer, I thought, "Oh no, here is another discount travel agency...so much for NOT bothering family and friends to sign up on this one." Boy was I wrong. After further discussion and research on my part, I found a wealth of information about GRN and why so many people are drawn to it. As I did more research I found a significant amount of information about something called the Reverse Funnel System and the good, the bad and the ugly about that system. I thought at first that the Reverse Funnel System was Global Resorts Network. Once again, boy was I wrong. It sure pays to do your due diligence. Here is what I have found to be true with GRN: 1. GRN is not a traditional MLM. GRN is more of a direct-sales company that allows their affiliates to get paid substantially up front - at the time of the sale. Affiliates also get paid on what their "downline" team members do in regards to signing up new affiliates. So it has the big commission draw that a direct sales company has, which is $500 or $1,000, as well as the residual income of network marketing, which is also $500 or $1,000. That's a pretty good chunk of change - more than your typical 8% commission override selling skincare or vitamins. 2. GRN is not the Reverse Funnel System (RFS). The RFS is a "system" that some people use to market GRN. It works for some people, but not everyone. There is pretty large initial cost for an advertising budget and a hefty monthly fee. The system markets one person as the expert, that would be Ty Coughlin, so there is no personal branding with this system. This system is in place to market the opportunity, not the product itself, so it's unfortunate that the people using this system will not be reaching the consumers that are out there seeking this wonderful product. 3. What actually GRN really? GRN is an Arizona based company and is the marketing arm for a 21-year old luxury resorts company. GRN was established in 2007 specifically to market the travel membership. The membership itself has so much to offer. There are 5,000 resorts worldwide, members can travel as much as they like and still pay the discounted rate on these resorts. The resorts offered are 4 and 5-star resorts, some of the best in the industry. Upon repeated comparisons against companies like Expedia, the GRN price significantly lower, and that includes high travel periods. It's pretty shocking how they can offer such low rates, but they do. Although this brief amount of information just touches on the whole picture, I hope it at least gives you an idea and some insight on what you are looking for. If Global Resorts Network is right for you and your family, then pick the team that can personally mentor you so that you can have a truly positive experience and the enormous success that you desire. |
