I have just finished reading a report that suggests that you have only a 2 in 100 chance of making a success in Internet Marketing. A survey found that there are 5 reasons why the majority of people fail to make any money with the net. The survey went on to look at those reasons in detail with statistics and lots of figures and colored pie charts and all the stuff that statisticians love to blind you with. I don't know about you but I like things simple so I have boiled down the whole report to this.

There are 5 main reasons that can stop you from making money with Internet Marketing:

1 LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

2 LACK OF PLANNING

3 LACK OF SUPPORT

4 LACK OF APPLICATION

5 LACK OF ENCOURAGEMENT

How can they stop you I hear you ask? This is how:

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
The majority of people who want to get into Internet Marketing do not know how to go about it. They usually they fall for some "get rich over-night" scam that, when they have paid their money, turns out to be some useless e-book full of re-hashed ideas or some piece of complicated soft-ware with little or no instructions on how to make it work. The only person who will make money from this scam is the scammer!

LACK OF PLANNING.
The next area where people fail is in planning. Most people don't actually know how to plan. They don't really know what they want. Ok, so they want money, what for, how much, when by? How much work are they willing to put in and when? Planning takes thinking and time. Most people do not want to think. So what do they do? They fall for the "no work required" scams!

LACK OF SUPPORT.
So you buy the "instant money making business in a box" and follow the "easy" instructions. Then you run into a problem. You mail/phone the so called "help" contact. What happens? Nothing that's what happens! There is no help, there is no support, you are on your own! The scammers don't care they have your money, that's it!

LACK OF APPLICATION.
So maybe the e-book you bought, and there are plenty of good books around, has all the right ideas. Maybe the software isn't a scam and has a proper backup service. You will still need to put in the time and effort to make the whole thing work and the majority are not prepared to do this.

LACK OF ENCOURAGEMENT.
Ok, so you make a commitment with your self, you will put in the time and energy. But as we all know nothing ever goes exactly to plan. Things go wrong, or happen too slow, you get depressed. You feel like quitting.

You will see that there are plenty of people with the same problems as yours and there are also plenty of people willing to help you with Knowledge, with Planning, with Support and with Encouragement and all for free! But there is one thing nobody can help you with, the Application is up to you and you alone.
