| What Makes You Stand Out From The Crowd? |

Why would someone buy from you and not someone else? What are you offering them that compels them to buy from you?
Why would someone buy from you and not someone else? What are you offering them that compels them to buy from you? When "talking" to your prospects via your sales copy (which could also include audio or video), you need to focus on the benefits rather than the features of the product you are selling. The prospect is asking "What's in it for me?". You need to tell them what that is! On your website, your strongest benefits should be featured within the first fold of your home page too - you really need to grab their attention and keep them interested. Once you've got your prospect there you need to provide a clear "call to action" and ask them to "click here to order now" or whatever. Tell your visitors what to do and where to go (politely of course!). Examples of a call to action might be: - Click here to buy/subscribe... - Read on to learn more about... - Fill out this simple form to receive... It sounds simple but many websites neglect to actively direct visitors to the next step, which is why many prospects simply leave. Here's an example of a business who really stood out from the crowd for me: I came across a website and I signed up for their free newsletter, which looked pretty good (based on their sales copy). Eventually the owner of the website released a book. I purchased the book because I was impressed with what I had received from them so far, so felt the book would be even better. When the book arrived (it was a book on the Law of Attraction) I opened it and read it within a few days - it was a pretty good book! A few weeks later, I received a letter from the author, asking me for some feedback on her book. Wrapped inside the letter was a little pretend butterfly (the butterfly referred to a particular chapter in the book), which she said was a thank you for purchasing her book, and for providing her with feedback. I felt that was a really nice touch and "personalised" the entire transaction. Of course I provided her with the feedback and I also continue my subscription to this day. I still have that butterfly, and this all happened over 3 years ago! As you can see, even the little things can make you stand out from the crowd, so it doesn't have to cost you a fortune, so why not give it a try and see if it works for you! |
