Now, before you go thinking that I am going to suggest that you can date a supermodel if you are just an average guy, making an average living, and squared away somewhere in the Midwest, don't worry. I'm going to be a little more realistic than that. Besides the supermodels that you see in magazines and on television, there are always those women that you actually do see in person, during your day to day life that you tell yourself that they are out of your league and that you would be a fool to even think that you could approach her and get a date. These are the woman that it is entirely possible for you to get, without having to change everything about yourself. If you've ever watched any of those movies from the 1980's that was marketed to teens and young adults, you see a pretty distinct pattern. There was always a hot, popular girl that was dating some jerk. And there was always some average guy that would look at her from afar and dream about getting with her. The movies always made it seem like the only way that this could happen was when the guy totally reinvented himself, or did something so dramatic, then the hot and popular girl just had to finally fall for him. Now, these were just movies, but a lot of guys took that message to heart and they still do. They think that they have to reinvent themselves and buy an outrageous car or become a flashy guy in order to get the girl. And if they don't want to do that, then they assume that she will always be off limits to them. It does not have to be that way, though. What most men don't realize, and you need to if you want to get women you think are out of your reach is, there are no limits. Take off those shackles and realize that you don't have to play out some role that film makers invented. |
