Gaining traffic at the beginning of any site's life can be hard especially if you don't want to pay to advertise. I'm here to help you with things I've found to work well. These help get your site off the ground.
I'm going to assume like most new bloggers you've gotten some traffic, yet your still itching for more. If your not maybe earning money with your site isn't for you. Today I have a small tip for you that can help reel in the traffic. What is it? Its simple, read other peoples blogs! Okay, not exactly you have to do something else too. You have to post comments about their articles. How it Works When you post a comment about their blog your name will appear and you can put a link your site in so when people click your name they go to your site. Check out the comments on this page you can click on the persons name and go to their site if they have one. Maximizing your return Find sites that are already have established traffic. These should be your main target. When you comment be certain that your comment is related and it has substance. Do not post things like "Great Article" "I agree". Its fast its easy it doesn't work well if you do that. Okay if you asked why it doesn't work here is why. Everyone else post that! They just get looked over and the articles with information get the attention. If the website is about cooking you could post something along these lines. "That sounds delicious. I make my recipe "insert name" this is how I make it unique "tell them how". Its short its simple and provides useful content to the readers. Of course you want to look for sites that are similar to yours though for getting the traffic that will stick around and keep coming back. Post on timeless articles these are articles that months and years from now people will still be reading. If you post on something that doesn't matter in a week that's how long your site is out there generating traffic for you. Tips to pull in the traffic
