So with that covered, let us look at the methods of building and gaining traffic, inbound links, and activity at your location on the web. I next want to provide to you. The first one is for you to "ask for a response" or "responses" from your audience. There are a couple of ways to do this. First, you can ask a respected member of your favorite blog, forum, or chat community, to offer their opinion, view, feedback, or advice in regards to your site, one of it's features, your blog, forum post or thread, etc. What will typically happen here for you, is that they will answer the requested for a response, by referencing your location, (usually with a link), and then go on to answer, possibly leaving you with keyword rich text associating with your website, and a new inbound link, and obviously more traffic.

Resources ARE significant for luring traffic to your location. First gather resources which pertain to the industry, or business arena that you are within. Make sure that you gather enough resources that the seeker of information is not too likely to have to look further, but DO link to further sources and do it via text links, displaying the sources name as the text. This is a great for search engine optimization because you will not be considered a "dead end" which especially Google does not like. It is also great because you are adding content, increasing your page rank, adding keyword value and richness as well. Resources will give you traffic, optimize your presence, and create return users and visitors.

The last traffic building tool I want to deliver in this article is to start a debate. This is based on the premise that everyone loves to give their "2 cents", so in creating a topic that you stand behind, but maybe most others do not, will ensure you have set the stage for a fueled debate. This does not mean friend, to go out and leave a vicious rumor, or start a conspiracy theory, for easy bait. If executed properly, this is a great method, and will get you traffic, name recognition, and inbound links.
