First I will share my absolutely important concepts, that you will have no choice but to grasp them. If you deny these top priorities, you WILL absolutely fail in meeting your traffic needs.
I know a very large mistake some of us have made, and others still make, is to attempt to try to sell a product directly in a traffic exchange. This is simply not effective, and if we think about the most common user of a traffic exchange is essentially there for one reason, to get credit for their OWN traffic. So with that said, it is not realistic to expect that they would slow down long enough to complete a purchase transaction. You should be first looking to display your own credibility, by letting them know about something that will help them achieve their end goal, which is success as an internet entrepreneur. So now you provide some useful, and practical information absolutely free, they are genuinely helped by the information, and are now seeing your level of credibility, and recognizing you as a legitimate source of valuable information. You have helped another human being, and you have now gained a great relationship with a great client. The next very important thing you need to know, is that "target marketing" is essential. This is not to say that having ads in general locations will not reap you some level of reward, but the real revenue comes from the successful execution of a targeted marketing or advertising campaign. This can enter into the equation of your success in a couple of ways; First there is targeting where is the best hub of activity that is specific to what you are offering, and second there is targeting the specific individuals who are particularly interested in, or in need of your offer to HELP. You are able to either, choose a product and target the product's market, or you could locate a market with a need, and market that Market with the product it was lacking. Where did this all lead? To our third, yet equally important, if not more important detail. That detail would be called conversions. The reason you read this article, is this detail. Without "converting" your obtained traffic, you are simply just selling for your competition. Remember, to give is to receive, so give before you do anything. These folks have found you because they were searching for help, so this is your prime opportunity to meet their needs immediately, and without it costing them one red cent. Do you not believe that you will be a champion to them, and therefore would certainly entertain looking further into what else you have to offer, ever perhaps something that may come at a cost. Yet if you have given them information that was useful and they had been grateful to obtain, then imagine the information they could receive if they are charged for it, it is a value that must certainly outweigh it's cost. If you are giving before you are receiving, then you are converting your traffic into great relationships, great clients, and great conversions.
